We are committed to responsible use of any personal data that we collect during your interaction with any bookings you make. We do not collect or store personal data on our websites. We use the following external providers as part of our service who do collect personal information on our behalf.
- Holiday Live Booking (HLB) – for handling all bookings and the personal information gathered on guests to complete such transaction (no personal financial information is held)
- SagePay – for processing card payments
Your personal information is never, and will never, be shared with anyone else, for any purpose, by any of the above.
Cookies
Cookies are small files which are stored on a user's computer. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website. Your browser will allow you to disable cookies should you wish to do so.
We also use Google Analytics to measure anonymous information about our all our visitors, such as visit frequency, duration and approximate geographical location. This information is completely anonymous and is used purely to help us align our content and advertising better with our audience.

How long we hold your information
Information is solely used for the purpose of managing your bookings through Carden Historic Cottages. Our booking provider (HLB) keeps personal information (excluding bank/credit card details) to allow for a record of guests to help understand trends and improve our service. With HLB, personal booking information is maintained for a maximum of ten years from the point of booking, records will be archived and personal details will not be retained beyond this point. Contact will cease once the booking is complete, and the guest can at any point unsubscribe to the newsletters if they decide to do so.
